We have recently made updates to the AutoGate app, allowing for greater customisation and easier navigation. The new features are summarised below.
Home page widgets
The first thing you see when you log into your AutoGate app is the home page. On this page, you will now be able to customise widgets based on metrics which are important to your business.
When clicking on "customise", you will see a set of metrics which can be added to your dashboard. Clicking the + or - button will add or remove a widget respectively.
Back to the dashboard, pressing on any of these metrics will take you directly to the relevant inventory or prospects. For example, if you press on the "unpublished vehicles" metric, you will be taken a page showing all of your unpublished stock.
Quick actions
On the home page, you will notice a "+" button on top right of the page. Clicking on this will allow you to perform quick actions; such as adding inventory, adding a new prospect or starting a test drive.
Switching dealerships
If you are a user who has access to multiple dealerships, you will now be able to quickly move between them from the homepage. Press on the dealership which displays, and it will bring up all dealerships which your profile is connected to.
'More' section
On the bottom right of your app you will see a 'more' option. Pressing on this will take you to a screen where you can:
- start a test drive
- view your "to do" list
- view the contact details of your account manager & our support team
- see all news updates
- view the carsales terms of service and privacy policy.
In-app news updates
Similarly to how it presents on the desktop version of AutoGate, you will now be able to view news, updates & insights all within the AutoGate app. You will be able to find this by navigating to the "more" option on the bottom panel, and clicking on "what's new".
Each time anything is added to this section, a notification will display to signify that you have not yet seen it.
How to manually update app
If you can't see the update, please log out and log back in through the app.
